Ozay Moore (formally Othello of Lightheaded) has a new album out on Mellow Orange. The production is all done by 14KT. Features guest appearances from Vursatyl, Chip Fu, Theory Hazit, Magestik Legend, Jamall Bufford, Lo5, Promise, Monica Blaire.
What's the idea behind the title? Ozay Moore explains:
We all know what its like to be on the receiving end of “Bad”. The point “Taking L’s” is attempting to make is that “L’s can be flipped into W’s”. It’s a perspective thing. As a “Big Picture” seeker, I often connect events in my life (and others) all together. Good is always at the expense of something or someone. I can see how an “L” taken a year ago has benefited me today. In the spirit of this album, I would like to hear from ya’ll briefly how you’ve flipped L’s into progress, and growth.
