It's cool to mention that two artists we like on Definition are still being featured in the Australian iTunes store's "Hip Hop" section. The Battery's "Two" and R-Swift's "Apply Pressure". They have been recommended under "New & Noteworthy" for the last few weeks.
The Battery are hip-hop veterans from California, USA. Jurny Big is the emcee, and Peace 586 produces the music. They have each been making music for 20+ years as members of the Tunnel Rats. Peace 586 was also in "Freedom of Soul", and Jurny in LPG.
"Two" by The Battery continues to draw critical praise including a 4/5 rating on New Release Tuesday. Guest features by Propaganda, Sev Statik, Playdough, Shames Worthy, and Rational. We definitly reckon you should check this album out.
R-Swift is from Philadelphia. He's part of the "Rhyme Council Group" and was once signed to Cross Movement Records. "Apply Pressure" covers a variety of topics over hard hitting beats. If features Social Club, Rhema Soul's Butta P and Sho Baraka.
